Senior ML Ops Engineer

Intuition Machines is growing rapidly. The company builds enterprise security products using AI/ML, serving hundreds of millions of people globally with a distributed team. Their best-known product is the hCaptcha security suite.

• Minimum 3 years experience in data roles involving designing data stores, feature engineering, and building reliable high-load data pipelines.
• At least 2 years professional software development experience outside data engineering.
• Proficient in Python and experienced with Kafka infrastructure and distributed data systems.
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably Clickhouse.
• Familiarity with public cloud providers (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD and orchestration platforms: Kubernetes, containerization, and microservice design.
• Ability to make independent decisions regarding data processing strategy and architecture.
• Self-directed and effective in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience collaborating across ML, backend, and frontend teams.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model training, inference, and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Maintain, extend, and improve existing data/ML workflows and implement new ones for high-velocity data.
• Provide interfaces and systems enabling ML engineers and researchers to build datasets on demand.
• Influence data storage and processing strategies.
• Collaborate with ML, frontend, and backend teams to build out the data platform.
• Reduce time-to-deployment for dashboards and ML models.
• Establish best practices and develop pipelines and software to enable efficient dataset building and usage.
• Work with large datasets under significant performance constraints.
• Iterate quickly with a focus on shipping early and often.
