Solution Architect

We are looking for candidates to work in collaboration with one of the biggest Bank Networks in the Retail Banking domain. You will join an IT Enterprise Services & Fraud team, located in Spain/Nearshore or the UK, that works together with the Customer. The team effectively works as an Architecture Community across domains, sharing reusable patterns and solutions.

• 3-5 years of Solution Architecture experience
• Experience in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture working in Financial Institutions (Retail or Corporate)
• Experience in creating practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles/standards, following governance
• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex concepts (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrable experience to diplomatically challenge and influence diverse stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and/or experience in architecting solutions for Financial Institutions
• Ability to deal with ambiguity with resilience to drive clarity/agreement
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills across competing demands
• Strong initiative with ability to learn fast and deal calmly with pressure
• Ability to manage risks in a highly regulated environment

• Apply strong domain and Decision Driven Design experience, create Solution Design Documents (SDD)
• Own the end-to-end Solution Architecture, collaborating and coordinating input from other architecture disciplines
• Document complex As-Is / Transition / Target Architectures aligned to associated roadmaps
• Understand migrating/decommissioning from legacy technologies to new technologies and how to remove obsolescence
