Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Base is a rapidly growing platform supporting entrepreneurs in global e-commerce, having grown 15-fold in the last 3 years. It provides an all-in-one system integrating thousands of sellers with marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.

• Minimum 4 years experience in DevOps/SysAdmin roles with practical AWS experience
• Strong general knowledge of cloud and classic server administration, including physical servers/Data Centers
• Proficiency with Linux, comfortable using the terminal as the natural work environment
• High moral standards and responsibility for infrastructure security
• Analytical approach considering security, performance, and long-term effects
• Ability to integrate cloud infrastructure understanding with physical server knowledge
• English language proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications
• Practical knowledge of Terraform
• Experience with Apache Kafka or Cloudflare
• Interest in developing agent-based DevOps automation

• Managing infrastructure permissions with meticulous attention to access control
• Implementing stable operation concepts for AWS cloud services to support dynamic growth
• Maintaining Unix/Linux servers including configuration, updates, and automation
• Responding to incidents through deep log analysis using Datadog and ELK stack, focusing on root cause analysis
• Supporting development teams to ensure continuous and smooth system operation
