Java Engineer

• Strong experience with Java 11+ (Java 17+ is highly preferred).
• Advanced, hands-on experience in software testing, including the design and implementation of automated test frameworks.
• Solid working understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Comfort navigating Unix-based systems and command-line interfaces.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies (Oracle preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Prior experience working within a QA team.
• Understanding of application monitoring tools and practices.

• Build and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices using Java 11, 17, and 21.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust automation testing frameworks to ensure software excellence and reduce testing overhead.
• Help reduce costs and complexity by migrating legacy systems to modern integration layers using APIs and microservice patterns.
• Work on increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities to ensure seamless, automated financial transactions.
