Team Leader – SAP Node.js

Join our team as a Team Leader – SAP Node.js, where you’ll drive the development of modern cloud-based applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on Node.js expertise with technical leadership, guiding a team to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to building robust SAP ecosystems. • 7+ years of experience in SAP-related development, including SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, and Node.js
• Proven experience in a Team Lead role, managing and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js and solid understanding of JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO, or similar
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience or knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Lead development activities using Node.js within SAP BTP, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development and clean design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects efficiently
• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
• Coordinate team activities, track performance, and support team development
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and delivery insights
• Contribute to the set-up and continuous improvement of development processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable, future-ready solutions
