Lead Salesforce Engineer

• Strong experience with the Salesforce ecosystem (Apex, Lightning Web Components, integration patterns).
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#/.NET).
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Proficiency in release management and software delivery lifecycle.
• Hands-on skills automating build, test, and deployment processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience working with infrastructure as code and automation frameworks.
• Experience leading software engineering teams in the delivery of digital products.
• Proven ability to design, build, and integrate complex, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to translate technical vision into business value.

Strategy:

• Partner with the IT Director and Enterprise Architects to design and govern the technology roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and future proof.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a hybrid engineering team.

Hands-On Development & Oversight:

• Conduct code and design reviews, contribute to critical parts of the codebase, and set the standard for technical excellence.

Platform Evolution:

• Oversee the core CRM platform (Salesforce), ensuring optimal performance and planning integration with or migration to future systems.

First 12-18 Months Goals:

• Take technical ownership of the core engagement platform (Salesforce), improving performance, scalability, and integration for 20+ global markets.
• Lead evaluation and proof-of-concept for new technologies for next-generation architecture.
• Establish and embed software engineering best practices within the hybrid engineering team.
• Lead delivery of at least one major new product or capability improving experience for sales, brand, and marketing teams.
