AI-Forward Backend Engineer (.NET / Python)

AgentHub is 7N's platform for matching clients with the right consultants and automating the workflows around that process. The team consists of 4–5 developers and architects who heavily use AI tools and aim to push further in AI-assisted development.

• Solid backend experience (roughly 7+ years) building distributed systems in .NET, with comfort in Python for AI/ML services
• Strong architectural judgment and willingness to make and defend decisions
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) into production systems or a clear track record indicating quick learning
• Calibrated views on AI tooling: enthusiastic about strengths, honest about limitations, effective daily use
• Deep understanding of system reliability, scalability, and failure modes
• Fluent English with ability to discuss complex technical topics clearly
• High ownership and self-direction suited for a small team environment

• Build and evolve AgentHub's backend: modular monoliths and microservices in .NET, with Python services for AI/ML workloads
• Help define and execute the product's AI strategy — agentic workflows, automation, and capabilities not yet scoped
• Pair with architects on big technical calls; own the domains worked on end-to-end
• Build reliable integrations with external systems (retries, circuit breakers, versioning), including ATS
• Apply DDD to keep the system aligned with recruitment and consultant matching processes
• Design secure-by-default systems (OAuth2, JWT, managed identities, rate limiting)
• Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to move faster and critically evaluate their output, especially for distributed-systems edge cases
• Build internal AI tooling for the team where it pays off: codegen helpers, review bots, agents handling routine tasks
• Help set the team's standards and guardrails for AI-assisted code: when to trust, verify, and review it
• Coach teammates and share effective practices peer-to-peer
• Own production aspects: observability, on-call, incidents
