Data and Financial Engineering Analyst

Work for the largest bank in Europe, which operates in more than 65 countries around the world giving access to over 90% of all world trade flows. Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within Fintech, Finance and Banking market in EMEA.

• Strong hands-on development experience in Python and SQL with production-quality, maintainable code
• Knowledge of Jira, Git, and test driven development
• Experience with financial data
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices including version control, code reviews, testing, documentation, and release management
• Experience building ETL/ELT processes and working with relational databases, ideally SQL Server, and data modelling concepts
• University graduate in engineering, finance, economics or similar
• Strong analytical skills and proactive problem solving approach

• Experience with SQL Server

Languages:

• English (advanced)

• Design, build, and maintain automated solutions to improve controls and analytical processes using Python and SQL
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines: ingest, transform, validate and publish datasets for downstream Product Control use cases
• Develop strong understanding of data sourcing and lineage, including data quality checks and reconciliations
• Partner with Product Control stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements and comply with policies and control standards
• Cooperate with Technology to ensure smooth integration, deployment and supportability
• Promote programming and data literacy within Product Control through documentation, reusable patterns, and peer support
• Support the correct delivery of standardized data to line teams
