Senior Cloud Engineer (+ Vmware | Linux | Terraform | Ansible)

1dea is a recruitment and IT outsourcing company focusing on expert and managerial positions. The company is based in Poland and operates globally through an international network. It covers sectors including IT, Transport, Spedition, Logistics, Property & Construction, and Tax & Legal.

• Minimum 5 years of general IT experience including at least 2 years as a Cloud Engineer.
• Higher education degree (at least bachelor's level).
• English language certification at minimum B2 level.
• Cloud certification at mid-level (Associate/Professional for AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Virtualization certifications: Nutanix NCP-MCI (MultiCloud Infrastructure) and VMware VCP-DCV version 7.x or newer.
• Strong scripting skills and knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Experience administering Linux systems (preferably Red Hat) with basic knowledge of Microsoft environments.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) concepts, and cloud security standards.

Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Red Hat.

• Administer and monitor enterprise-class cloud environments including subscription, identity, and resource management.
• Monitor and report cloud resource usage focusing on cost and performance optimization.
• Provision and manage development environments and DevOps projects.
• Provide 2nd line technical support for internal development teams and collaborate on resolving complex issues.
• Create and update documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and technical guidelines.

• The position requires candidates to have a maximum one-month notice period.
• The role is for B2B outsourcing with a minimum 12-month engagement.
• Candidates must meet formal criteria related to experience, education, and language certification as required by EU projects.
