Python Quant Developer

The client is from the banking sector, seeking an experienced specialist combining strong Python programming skills with knowledge of financial markets and mathematical modeling. The role focuses on creating and validating models used for pricing financial instruments and risk analysis, with emphasis on equities.

• Very good knowledge of Python (mandatory).
• Experience in developing computational or quantitative systems.
• Very good knowledge of libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• Experience in implementing and validating mathematical models.
• Knowledge of pricing financial instruments.
• Knowledge of financial markets, especially equities.
• Ability to work with large datasets and data feeds.
• Experience in optimizing application and calculation performance.
• Skills in debugging and analyzing result accuracy.
• Knowledge of reliability and exception handling.
• Very good knowledge of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, trading, or hedge fund sectors.
• Knowledge of derivative instruments.
• Experience with asset classes such as commodities, credit, or interest rates.
• Knowledge of C++.
• Experience working in Linux environments.

• Creating solutions related to pricing financial instruments.
• Validating model results against benchmarks with very high calculation accuracy.
• Optimizing calculation performance and improving system stability and reliability.
• Integrating solutions with risk management systems and data feeds.
• Working with market data for various asset classes.
• Collaborating with quantitative, risk, and engineering teams.
• Maintaining code quality, exception handling, and high technical standards.
