Senior Data Engineer

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Very good knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow, and Python
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, data transformations, and data quality validation
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Knowledge of data engineering solution architecture
• 5 years of experience in a similar role

Nice to have:

• Experience in enterprise data modelling
• Experience in analytical projects or data platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and DataOps

• Design and development of data pipelines in the GCP environment
• Building and optimizing ETL/ELT processes
• Working with BigQuery data warehouse and optimizing SQL queries
• Creating serverless solutions using Cloud Run and Cloud Functions
• Integrating data from various sources and automating processes
• Orchestrating workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
• Managing data ingestion processes and Cloud Storage
• Monitoring data quality and validating processing workflows
• Collaborating with analytics, development, and business teams
