Solution Architect (Payments & Banking)

• At least 2 years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar architecture-related role.
• Proven experience designing solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of UML and BPMN 2.0.
• Experience working with CASE tools, particularly Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Good understanding of SOA, microservices, microfrontend architectures, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business and technical perspectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following technology areas: Kubernetes (K8S), Oracle, Java, SOAP, REST, GraphQL, Angular, MongoDB, Kafka, Camunda, Cloud platforms.
• Understanding of system and technical architecture within banking or financial institutions.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of banking payment processes and payment systems, including SEPA, Elixir, SWIFT, SORBNET3, TARGET2, domestic and international transfers, and card payments.
• Understanding of data architecture and data modeling concepts.
• TOGAF® certification or completed architecture-related training.

• Design and develop solution architectures for IT initiatives within the banking and payments domain.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technology solutions.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and identify applications requiring enhancement or modification.
• Define and document integration patterns, data flows, and system interactions.
• Prepare architecture documentation, including UML diagrams and technical specifications.
• Define infrastructure and non-functional requirements necessary for solution implementation.
• Support project teams in selecting technologies aligned with organizational standards and architectural principles.
• Review business analyses, technical designs, and project documentation to ensure architectural consistency.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Participate in software vendor selection processes, including solution assessments and recommendations.
• Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
