Cloud Data Architect (GCP)

Future Processing is a company focused on IT projects, emphasizing teamwork and continuous learning. They work on modern data processing platforms and cloud solutions, particularly using Google Cloud Platform technologies.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering on Google Cloud Platform with commercial production deployments
• Practical experience as Lead Developer, Data Architect, or similar senior role
• Expert knowledge of Data & Analytics services in GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery, BigLake, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex, Sensitive Data Protection, Looker, and Vertex AI
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Practical knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code tools and processes: CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Cloud Deploy, Cloud Build
• Experience in data modeling, implementing Lambda/Kappa architectures in GCP, and migrating systems from on-premise to cloud (lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect)
• Deep understanding of GCP security and data protection mechanisms (VPC Service Controls, CMEK, DLP, Cloud KMS)
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills, including mentoring, training junior engineers, and delivering technical presentations and talks at industry events

• Design, create, and optimize modern data processing platforms (DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse, BigLake) on Google Cloud Platform and integrate them with analytics, BI, and Vertex AI systems
• Provide technological and business consulting to current and potential clients, selecting cost-effective and performance-optimized architectures (Lambda, Kappa)
• Manage the entire Big Data solution development process from business requirements analysis, risk identification, technical architecture design, testing, production deployment, to documentation
• Actively participate in pre-sales processes including requirements gathering, presenting the company's technological approach, and building competitive advantage arguments
• Contribute to commercial offers by designing architecture diagrams, estimating project effort, and calculating TCO/ROI using cloud calculators
• Design and implement advanced, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in batch and near-real-time modes using Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
