Software Quality Engineer / Senior Specialist

• Fluent in English
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 4-6 years of experience with software testing
• Enthusiasm for automotive industry and automotive systems
• Professional experience with software development and testing processes (system/software design, code reviews, testing, defect management) and techniques (ASPICE, ISTQB)
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Java, Python)
• UI related functional testing experience
• Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and embedded environments
• Understanding of software development best practices and proactive process improvement
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Structured approach to quality with attention to detail
• Strong reporting skills with ability to train and influence others

Nice to have:

• Experience with ALM tools (Jama, Codebeamer)
• Experience with software version control and collaboration tools (GitHub, Jira)
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing environments and tools (CANoe, VTestStudio)
• Experience with performance testing (profiling on hardware)
• Knowledge of network and automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP)
• Experience with Generative AI technologies for test automation and analysis

• Derive test cases from requirements and set up test environments
• Support definition and maintenance of test strategy with stakeholders
• Develop automated tests and execute tests on SIL/HIL platforms
• Report, analyze, and track issues in collaboration with development teams
• Contribute to software process compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Guide and mentor junior testers and ensure best practices are followed
