Senior AI Engineer

inFakt is a company at the intersection of technology and accounting, focused on automating and implementing advanced technologies. They develop and improve an accounting application supporting over 400,000 entrepreneurs daily. The Kraków office employs about 50 talented specialists in IT, accounting, customer service, and sales, with the largest team in IT programming in Ruby, Python, and Swift.

• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML tools ecosystem including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn
• Experience with frameworks: Claude Code, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, Pydantic
• Practical knowledge of AWS or GCP environments and deploying AI applications therein
• Understanding of prompt engineering, agent architectures, data contextualization, and RAG models
• Ability to work with tools for evaluating model response quality
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, REST/JSON, and microservice architectures
• Experience in function engineering, data processing, and handling large datasets
• Skills in optimizing and scaling AI models
• Mentoring abilities and knowledge sharing
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience conducting research and experiments on new AI methods

Nice to have:

• Experience building MCP servers or developer tools
• Knowledge of AI Agents frameworks like CrewAI, N8N
• Familiarity with explainable AI (XAI) methods and model interpretation
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Vertex AI Pipelines
• Knowledge of DataOps environments
• Willingness to work in Kraków office three days a week

• Create and deploy machine learning and deep learning models addressing real business challenges
• Develop and implement AI/LLM applications in AWS or GCP cloud environments
• Design architectures based on LLMs such as RAG, Agentic RAG, and MCP
• Integrate models with production applications using Function Calling / A2A mechanisms
• Build pipelines for contextual data processing including embedding, chunking, and vectorization
• Design and implement data indexing processes in vector databases like Qdrant, Weaviate, Pinecone
• Create prompts, test model output quality, and optimize LLM behavior
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
• Support the team with best practices in ML, MLOps, and data engineering
• Collaborate with development and business teams on AI projects in automation, analytics, and external service integration
• Analyze latest AI trends and explore practical applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation and report research and deployment results
