Junior Cybersecurity Specialist

PwC Business Services Sp. z o.o. offers a career in the Cyber Security practice within Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics services, helping clients detect, monitor, and predict risk related to technology, people, systems, processes, culture, and physical surroundings.

• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Polish language proficiency at minimum C1 level
• At least one year of experience in IT, service desk, or cybersecurity
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and principles
• Basic knowledge of IT technologies and ICT networks
• Strong teamwork skills for effective collaboration in international and diverse teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Passion for cybersecurity

Nice to have:

• IT or technical education
• Industry recognized certifications
• Hands-on skills in information security, especially in system and log analysis or network and OS (Windows, Linux) administration

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (XDR) tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and Tanium
• Prepare reports summarizing the functioning of the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Escalate complex incidents to second and third line (L2/L3) SOC analysts
• Work in a 24/7 shift-based environment including nights, weekends, and public holidays
