Software Engineer 5 - Production Operations

The Production Operations Products team at Netflix develops core technologies that power the planning, management, and tracking of global productions. They are primary developers behind Slate Manager (SM) for internal use and Production Center (PC) for external production partners. Their domain covers the entire lifecycle of physical production operations including tools for planning, execution risk management, standards maintenance, and business reporting with complex workflows such as talent and vendor management, schedule pacing, and budget insights.

• 5+ years experience developing distributed microservices in production environments.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful.
• Recent experience with Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, concurrency, multi-threading, performance tuning, and system observability.
• Proven track record in building distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Ability to communicate technical topics effectively to diverse audiences.
