QA Automation Engineer

We are an e-commerce platform and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. Since 2015, we have been part of Wirtualna Polska Holding – Poland’s largest group of media and e-commerce companies. Together with Travelplanet.pl and the Invia brands across CEE, we are building a unified travel group driven by a shared #TravelMindset.

• Practical experience in Java programming with OOP concepts.
• Minimum 2 years experience automating UI tests with Selenium.
• API testing experience with tools like RestAssured.
• Practical knowledge of Chrome DevTools for network request analysis, console error detection, and debugging.
• SQL knowledge for test data preparation and validation.
• Proficiency with Git including branching, merge requests, and code review workflows.
• Experience with Maven as a build tool for dependency management and running tests.
• Experience working in Scrum teams.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and test automation integration using tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and JUnit frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of Docker.
• Web accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG standards).
• Performance testing experience with JMeter DSL.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for the main e-commerce platform (Web and API).
• Writing and executing automated test scenarios using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright.
• Performing manual exploratory testing as needed.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports.
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects with development teams.
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage.
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation.
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with developers, other QA engineers, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Sharing testing knowledge and aiding improvement of team's quality practices.
