Performance Test Engineer/Lead

• Proven experience delivering Performance & Non-Functional Testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in enterprise Performance & Non-Functional Testing strategy and governance.
• Experience with cloud-native testing, ideally on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad.
• Skills in performance analysis, profiling, monitoring, and optimisation.
• Knowledge of containerised and serverless architectures, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and observability.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or Cypher.
• Experience with database and messaging performance, including Neo4j/GDBMS, Pub/Sub, and MQ.
• Competence in API, batch/ETL, and integration testing.
• Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and technical leadership capabilities.

Nice to have:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, IAM platforms, AppDynamics, Datadog, GCP Monitoring, DevSecOps, SaaS testing.
• Experience establishing enterprise-wide Performance Testing standards and governance.

• Define and drive the Performance & Non-Functional Testing strategy, roadmap, and governance.
• Lead testing across load, stress, volume, resilience, failover, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and operational readiness scenarios.
• Own tooling, environments, test planning, reporting, and programme-wide quality metrics.
• Analyse performance results, identify bottlenecks, and drive remediation.
• Integrate Performance Testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left delivery practices.
• Mentor Performance Test Engineers and provide technical leadership across the programme.
