Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)

x1F operates in managed cloud services focusing on cloud platform operation, security, and migration primarily on AWS and Azure. The role involves managing cloud KPIs, costs, and serving as a technical contact while leading smaller cloud projects and contributing to transition projects.

• Hands-on experience operating cloud platforms in managed services, including monitoring, incident, change, and patch management.
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, and security baselines.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, BSI C5.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proficient use of Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience with cloud migrations, transition projects, or building landing zones.
• Ability to independently manage smaller technical projects.
• Fluent in English (C1 level); German is a plus.

• Operate managed cloud platforms including monitoring, incident, change, and patch management.
• Harden networks, IAM structures, security baselines, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and automate processes including Security by Default and Policy as Code.
• Support transition projects by deploying proprietary solutions, building landing zones, and migrating customer environments.
• Lead smaller cloud projects from technical design to implementation.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules and customer workshops or on-site assignments.
