The Access Control team builds the platform that secures and manages physical access for multi-site businesses, integrating cloud APIs and communication with hardware such as panels, readers, and locks. Wymagania

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills; experience with C# is a plus.
  • Experience developing backend services and HTTP APIs (REST or similar).
  • Experience with database design and development, particularly SQL.
  • Experience creating and maintaining unit tests; familiarity with integration testing and CI/CD is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework such as Ember.js, Angular, or React.
  • Experience working with hardware, IoT, or device development is a plus.
  • Good communication skills.

Obowiązki

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data models for the access control platform.
  • Contribute to the device communication layer for cloud-to-hardware interaction including device configuration, firmware updates, and real-time event processing.
  • Develop features across the full stack, including web front-end using Ember.js when required.
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and production monitoring.
  • Work hands-on with real access control hardware to develop, test, and debug device integrations.
  • Write unit and integration tests and monitor production performance.
  • Exercise good judgment on trade-offs between rapid iteration and building for scale and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, hardware/device engineers, and other software teams across time zones.
  • Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing.
  • Contribute ideas for product development and improvements beyond strict specifications.
