Vendor Manager Analyst

• 3–5+ years of experience in vendor management, commercial management, procurement support, technology operations, or related role, preferably in financial services or regulated environment
• Strong analytical skills to structure ambiguous problems, synthesise information, and produce clear decision-ready outputs
• Good understanding of technology vendor landscapes and commercial/contract constructs such as SLAs, licensing models, renewals, consumption metrics
• Experience in business case development, initiative tracking, and benefits realisation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills working across functions and with senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and governance discipline including tracking, documentation, auditability, and timely follow-through
• Financial and commercial awareness including cost drivers, budgeting concepts, and value-for-money considerations
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, portfolio dashboards, and MI tools

Nice to have:

• Experience in IT spend approval processes and budget management (Run/Change/Transformation)
• Familiarity with Headwinds planning and multi-year cost forecasting
• Background in technology procurement or contract management in a global organisation

• Manage the IT spend approval process for several CTO functions, coordinating and delivering vendor management analysis to support weekly spend request approval meetings with Heads of Functions
• Ensure available budgets (Run, Change, Transformation) and guide requestors through the submission process including Headwinds forecasting
• Understand vendor and contractual spend; validate savings including Sustainable, One-Time, and Cost Avoidance
• Support Senior Vendor Managers with day-to-day vendor lifecycle activities such as data gathering, benchmarking inputs, meeting minutes/actions, and decision logs
• Maintain portfolio trackers and reporting for renewal pipeline, RAID, actions, decision points, and approvals status ensuring data quality and timely updates
• Support contract and commercial reviews by extracting key terms including SLAs, pricing constructs, renewal clauses, obligations, and highlight gaps, risks, and remediation actions
• Partner with Operations Management and Finance to support cost optimisation initiatives including baseline spend analysis, opportunity identification, delivery tracking, and benefits realisation
• Contribute to a high-performance team culture through close collaboration and collective responsibility
