Senior Mainframe Developer

LinkGroup is involved in developing and maintaining mission-critical systems running on IBM Mainframe technologies, serving clients in the banking, insurance, and other highly regulated industries.

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in development and maintenance on the IBM Mainframe platform.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 databases, including SQL development, query optimization, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement solutions.
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and optimizing applications.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international project environment.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD practices within Mainframe environments.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors.
• Knowledge of Mainframe modernization initiatives and AI-driven software development.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.
