Senior Java Developer

Devire IT Outsourcing is a collaboration model for IT professionals based on self-employment (B2B) working on innovative projects for leading clients. The role supports a banking client focused on banking applications for structured finance, liquidity calculations, and regulatory reporting.

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and Maven.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to translate mathematical equations into code.
• Understanding of web services.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Logstash, Kibana, and Elasticsearch (nice to have).
• Experience working efficiently in Agile environments and with BDD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and team-player mindset with a focus on partnership-based relationships.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Polish or French is an asset.

• Developing code by applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards (technical debt, clean code, review, peer programming, infrastructure as code).
• Understanding business requirements and defining technical solutions to implement them.
• Regularly delivering product increments.
• Applying release processes and providing L1/L2/L3 support for production issues with technical fixes.
• Integrating and applying Agile methodology by participating in all ceremonies.
• Collaborating on specifications, test plans, and certification with Business Analysts.
• Providing technical analysis, effort estimation, and risk assessment for project scoping.
• Ensuring solutions meet security, scalability, and efficiency requirements.
• Analyzing errors and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Sharing knowledge with team members.
• Participating in weekend operations for resiliency tests and upgrades (2-3 weekends per year).
• Developing and maintaining continuous delivery tools.
• Creating and managing technical documentation.
