Senior Java Developer

Devire IT Outsourcing is a form of collaboration dedicated to IT professionals based on self-employment (B2B), implementing projects for leading clients pursuing innovative and cutting-edge projects in the banking industry. The role supports banking applications for structured finance activities, liquidity calculations, and regulatory reporting.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Java backend development
• Experience with Spring & Spring Boot frameworks
• Proficiency in Jenkins and Maven
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Ability to translate mathematical equations into code
• Understanding of web services
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Logstash, Kibana, and Elasticsearch (nice to have)
• Experience working efficiently in Agile environments
• Experience with BDD practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented approach, team-player mindset, and focus on partnership-based relationships
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize work
• Fluency in English (B2 minimum); knowledge of Polish or French is an asset

• Develop code applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards including clean code, code reviews, peer programming, and infrastructure as code
• Understand business requirements and define technical solutions
• Regularly deliver product increments
• Apply release processes and provide L1/L2/L3 support for production issues with technical fixes
• Integrate and apply Agile methodology, participating in all ceremonies
• Collaborate on specifications, test plans, and certifications with Business Analysts
• Provide technical analysis, effort estimation, and risk assessment to support project scoping
• Seek appropriate solutions ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency
• Analyze errors and contribute to continuous improvement
• Share knowledge with other team members
• Participate in weekend operations for resiliency tests and upgrades (2-3 weekends per year)
• Develop and maintain continuous delivery tools
• Create and manage technical documentation
