Senior AI Engineer (f/m/x)

We are recruiting for a long-term project with a global leader in the banking sector, focused on AI and Machine Learning solutions transforming Credit & Lending for corporate and institutional clients worldwide.

• Minimum 5 years of software or ML engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Python and ML/AI ecosystem
• Familiar with relational databases, vector databases, KV stores (Redis), and Pub/Sub
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, observability, API design, concurrency models
• Expert understanding of LLM architectures with extensive fine-tuning experience
• Hands-on mastery of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), advanced Prompt Engineering, and agentic architectures
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP
• Proficiency with Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GCP Cloud Build)
• Practical experience with TDD and BDD
• Excellent English communication skills (C1)
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have:

• Leadership or architectural experience
• Familiarity with Java for middleware and integration tasks

• Write and maintain high-quality, testable, and reusable code
• Lead design of scalable and robust AI/ML solutions aligned with platform vision
• Own engineering execution from design to production deployment for key AI projects
• Co-author and promote coding standards and AI best practices ensuring fairness and transparency
• Drive technical strategy by prototyping new technologies including RAG, LLM optimization, and agentic architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and implement solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases to analyze complex financial data

Residing in Poland is required for this position.
