IT Analyst Senior

The role is within the banking sector and involves extensive work in IT risk, audit, compliance, and security. The position requires knowledge of various banking applications, banking technologies, and experience with large-scale cross-organizational issues and audits including ECB and GIA. Technical expertise includes databases (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Postgres), network architecture including cloud, and SharePoint development.

• Expert knowledge in IT risk frameworks and audit management
• Experience with bank compliance requirements such as NIS2, DORA, FSA guidelines, and ECB
• Senior/expert skills in network and database security, including cloud environments
• Expertise in security vulnerability and threat management
• Experience with banking applications and business analysis
• Industry standard project management skills including stakeholder management and governance
• Proficient in databases: Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Postgres
• Expert knowledge of networks, IP/DNS systems, and cloud network architecture
• Expertise in SharePoint administration, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Mid-senior level proficiency in Python for data management and analytics

IT Risk & Audit and Compliance:

• Conduct IT risk assessments from identification to action plans and risk monitoring
• Design audit remediation plans and strategies, collect and document evidences and technical artefacts
• Deliver audit closure and negotiation
• Communicate risk and audit remediation plans and outcomes to senior leadership and risk functions
• Work on compliance requirements (NIS2, DORA, FSA, ECB), including closure of ECB and GIA audit issues

IT Security:

• Manage network security covering dns, tcp/ip, and network architecture including cloud
• Manage database security focusing on backup strategies, user management and authentication, version and patch management
• Handle security vulnerability management with security testing and scanning tools
• Manage security threats, web-based threats, and mitigation efforts
• Support infrastructure operations including incident and problem management and knowledge of CMDB systems

Banking:

• Maintain knowledge of banking applications across areas such as transaction, corporate, asset management, and trading
• Understand banking technologies including business continuity, business impact analysis, and business analysis

Project Management:

• Set up project plans with relevant communication and governance
• Onboard stakeholders, establish working agreements and follow up to meet goals
• Report weekly progress, impediments, and risks
• Take proactive actions to ensure timely delivery
• Organize resources effectively and motivate team members
• Monitor timelines, communicate effectively, negotiate, and manage expectations

Technical Skills:

• Manage databases (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Postgres) architecture, security, compliance, and user management
• Maintain knowledge of IP/DNS systems, network architecture in cloud and internet assets
• Administer and develop SharePoint lists, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows
• Develop Python code for data management and analytics at mid-senior level
