Senior Network & Security Engineer

The role is for a global IT infrastructure organization responsible for enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Security environments within a globally recognized enterprise. The position involves bridging business requirements including production and R&D facilities with technical execution.

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise network and security engineering with expertise in Cisco routing/switching (Catalyst, Nexus) and core protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, TCP/IP).
• Practical experience with enterprise firewalls, preferably Fortinet/FortiGate, and web application security (WAF, SSL inspection, DNS).
• Willingness to complete Fortinet NSE 4 certification within 6 months if lacking prior Fortinet experience (costs covered).
• Proven ability to create HLD/LLD documentation and supervise external MSP partners.
• Fluent English (B2+/C1 mandatory) with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup (3 days office/2 days remote) and participate in paid rotational on-call duties after onboarding.

• Translate complex global business requirements into High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Security infrastructure.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding Managed Service Provider (MSP) Tier-3 incident resolution, SD-WAN performance, and certificate management.
• Act as a technical bridge between business stakeholders, facility managers, Cybersecurity teams, and international engineering groups.
• Operate within Agile frameworks to optimize workflows, ServiceNow service delivery, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) efforts.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to maintain and enforce firewall rulesets (Fortinet), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DNS standards, and secure remote access protocols.
