Lead Economy Designer - RPG

Homa is a global mobile game developer and publisher that has launched over 80 titles, reached over 2 billion downloads, and developed the proprietary platform Homa Lab which incorporates AI to support developers in achieving product–market fit and scaling games. The company has a diverse team of 220+ people from 30+ nationalities and has raised $165M from prominent investors including the founders of King, Sorare, and Spotify.

• Experience owning the core economy design of free-to-play RPG titles end-to-end
• Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL to read game data and make economic decisions
• Hands-on execution mindset, able to implement and iterate on economy frameworks
• Structured thinking and clear documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to align distributed teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python or R for economic modeling and simulation
• Basic knowledge of Unity
• Experience with titles achieving significant IAP in top 200 grossing RPG charts
• Use of AI tools to enhance modeling and analysis workflows

• Design scalable RPG economy systems that can be replicated across titles
• Own the economic impact of every product feature by assessing KPIs and producing risk-adjusted roadmaps
• Define pricing, sink/source balancing, and offer targeting strategies for monetization
• Build economy simulations and end-to-end quantitative data models
• Partner directly with studios and publishing teams to translate economy frameworks into actionable guidance
