Product Designer | NordVPN Apps | Mid-Senior

The Design Team at Nord Security is a multidisciplinary group of Product designers, Web designers, UX researchers, UX writers, and Graphic designers. They develop cybersecurity suite products, including NordVPN, NordPass, Saily, and Coveron, to simplify cybersecurity and help millions of users protect their online lives.

• 3+ years of experience in product design for mobile and desktop applications with demonstrated fluency across platforms and ownership of complex problems.
• Proficiency in smart prototyping tools, including quick mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and AI-assisted breadth exploration, using real data.
• Strong ownership and communication skills, including constructive handling of disagreements and early integration of engineering realities.
• Meticulous attention to visual and interaction details to craft high-quality, user-friendly experiences.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces adhering to WCAG conformance criteria.
• Experience in motion design.

• Own the entire design flow for native experiences on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and browser extensions while maintaining Nord's recognizable style.
• Challenge assumptions and briefs early by collaborating with Product Owners and engineers, including removing unnecessary flows.
• Apply and contribute to the growth of the design system by proposing new components where gaps exist.
• Collaborate closely with engineers during the build phase and own Design Quality Assurance to ensure the final product matches intended designs.
