Senior Engineer, AI Object Storage

The Storage Engineering team builds, scales, and operates CoreWeave's high-performance AI storage platform designed for hyperscale cloud environments, powering large and innovative AI workloads.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 6–10 years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure operations
• Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed file systems in production
• Experience with storage protocols like S3, NFS
• Experience with distributed storage architectures such as Ceph, DAOS
• Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Go, C, or Rust
• Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with storage observability tools and telemetry pipelines, including ClickHouse, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills

• Build, scale, and operate CoreWeave's high-performance AI storage platform
• Design reliable, high-throughput storage systems engineered natively for hyperscale cloud environments
• Build and maintain distributed architectures such as Ceph, DAOS, or similar
• Work on storage protocols including S3 and NFS
• Develop and maintain scalable system architectures
• Use storage observability tools, telemetry pipelines, and open-source data stacks such as ClickHouse, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Debug and solve problems in complex, high-performance distributed environments
• Mentor peers on technical best practices in high-performance systems engineering
