Senior Software Engineer, Fleet Monitoring Analysis

• Minimum 2 years experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with automation, orchestration workflows, and managing physical infrastructure at scale.
• Proficiency with metrics collection and alerting on platforms like Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, AlertManager, or Grafana.
• Experience working in Linux environments with scripting or programming languages such as Python or Go.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing or operating time-series monitoring with Prometheus-compatible systems.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Kubernetes.
• Experience building or maintaining automation tools such as Slack bots, webhooks, or Kubernetes controllers.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, SQL, and building dashboards using Grafana or similar BI tools.

• Design and implement large-scale server observability solutions to improve fleet stability and reliability.
• Adapt and extend open-source monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus-compatible exporters and AlertManager/Victoria Metrics.
• Generate and maintain reports, alarms, and visualizations for Fleet Engineering and FROps.
• Create and evolve test plans, deployment automation, dashboards, alerts, and insights around fleet operations.
• Participate in the Fleet Engineering Developers’ on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with team members to invest in growth and continuously improve monitoring and automation.
