Network Security Engineer / Advisor

1dea is a recruitment and IT outsourcing company focusing on expert and managerial positions. They operate internationally with a presence in Poland and cover sectors including IT, transport, logistics, property and construction, and tax and legal.

• Strong professional background in network security architecture and performing security audits/assessments
• Practical knowledge of NDR solutions, network monitoring, threat detection, modern cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud/corporate environments
• Experience as a client-facing consultant evaluating business products and translating security requirements into practical technical recommendations
• Fluent spoken and written English for presenting results to management and stakeholders
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud environments
• Client advisory experience

• Analyze current state infrastructure and controls including IDS, SIEM, EDR, ITDR, firewalls, OT segmentation, SD-WAN, and cloud
• Evaluate the strategic role of NDR compared to Zero Trust, SSE/SASE, CASB, and identity controls
• Prepare RFI, assess product features, costs, scalability, and shortlist vendors
• Propose operating models: internal, managed services, hybrid with role divisions
• Develop roadmap and investment recommendations including priorities and implementation phases
• Optionally support PoC by defining selection criteria, test scenarios, and technical supervision
