AWS DevOps Engineer

• Broad experience working across many cloud services, specifically focusing on AWS.
• Strong Python skills for automation and excellent scripting skills.
• Proficient experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tooling: Git, Ansible, Terraform.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Practical understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery experience.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Security-first mindset applicable in an AWS context.

Nice to have:

• AWS certification(s).
• Strong Terraform skills.
• Linux or Windows certification(s).
• Good non-functional testing experience.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry.

• Support project teams in building safe, reliable, and secure systems addressing global business needs.
• Assist in managing AWS accounts and operating key platform services.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure and efficient project launches.
• Provide on-call support, solve technical problems, and lead major incident investigations.
• Automate solutions and improve operational efficiency using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
• Write clear documentation accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure security is a fundamental part of every solution delivered in an AWS context.
