Senior Mobile Software Engineer (iOS) - Consumer Experience

Allegro is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer for its mobile application team based in Poznań and Kraków, working on a new shopping experience and improvements for its e-commerce mobile apps. The team consists of over 100 developers actively sharing knowledge and using modern tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Consul, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. The company operates a large-scale platform with over 1000 microservices, an open-source data bus, a Service Mesh, and production machine learning.

• Fluency in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Solid knowledge of SwiftUI, Combine, and Swift Concurrency.
• Ability to write unit tests (XCTest, Swift Testing), snapshot tests (SnapshotTesting), and UI tests (XCUITest).
• Practical experience working with modular architecture and developing large scalable codebases.
• Collaboration experience with backend engineers and product teams.
• Knowledge of Apple Liquid Glass design language and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenCode.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for the Allegro iOS application with high quality and performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement innovative mobile solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions on the iOS platform.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues within the iOS app.
• Stay up to date with the latest iOS technologies (Swift, SwiftUI, Apple SDKs) and mobile industry trends.
• Be part of Allegro’s mobile community of over 100 developers sharing knowledge through code reviews, tech talks, and skill development time.
