Product Manager (HR/HCM)

• 5+ years of product management experience owning product areas end to end.
• Solid understanding of HR processes and the HR/HCM business domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Strong grounding in product management methodology, agile practices, and software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to build and prioritize roadmaps using data, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Excellent communication and executive presence to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Product Management certification (e.g., PMP, CSPO).
• Experience turning ambiguous market signals into shipped products.
• Familiarity with change management and adoption of HR processes/tools.
• Working knowledge of Payroll and Talent Management.
• Knowledge of Professional Services, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, or Higher Education industries.

• Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for the HR & Compensation modules.
• Translate market requirements and business cases into clear specifications for Engineering, UX, and Test.
• Work closely with stakeholders including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and peer Product Managers.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to plan and deliver product increments and provide roadmap estimates.
• Build and manage the feature backlog, balancing business priority with technical feasibility and scalability.
• Coordinate feature delivery across agile teams, identifying cross-team dependencies.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.
• Triage defect queue with client support and drive resolution with engineering.
• Present product vision, strategy, and results to executive leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Manage the product lifecycle end to end from concept through launch and ongoing evolution.
• Stay current on HR/HCM industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technology.
