Guidewire Developer (PolicyCenter & BillingCenter)

Spyrosoft is engaged in international projects within the insurance domain, delivering modern solutions based on the Guidewire platform that support digital transformation and large-scale insurance transformation programs.

• Commercial experience with Guidewire platform
• Strong hands-on experience with PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter
• Good knowledge of Gosu programming language
• Understanding of insurance business processes (policy lifecycle, billing, underwriting)
• Experience in software development and system configuration within Guidewire
• Experience with system integrations and APIs
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Understanding of enterprise systems and financial/insurance data flows
• Experience working in Agile or project-based environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
• Good communication and articulation skills
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• German language proficiency at B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Experience with data analysis or reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI)
• Familiarity with ERP environments such as SAP or Dynamics
• Experience with finance or accounting-related processes in insurance
• Experience in consulting or client-facing project environments
• Knowledge of Guidewire integrations and cloud solutions
• Experience working with large datasets or mass data analysis
• Ability to support process improvement and digitalization initiatives

• Develop and configure Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter)
• Design and implement new functionalities within the Guidewire ecosystem
• Custom development using Gosu
• Support integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systems
• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementations
• Support system configuration, testing, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and project managers
• Support modernization and digitalization of insurance processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
