Full-Stack Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience building large-scale distributed software systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and API-driven backend services.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting production-grade services.
• Familiarity with cloud or hybrid hosting models, preferably Microsoft Azure and on-premises.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and modern engineering toolchains.
• Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions, tradeoffs, and risks.
• Ability to mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, delivery planning, and production readiness.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services, investment accounting, asset servicing, data platforms, or transaction processing.
• Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript/Angular, Kafka, Spark, or other streaming and distributed systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-ready, API-first services.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience building or integrating AI-enabled applications.

• Modernize Eagle Accounting platform capabilities with scalable services for high-volume accounting and data processing.
• Build a multi-tenant, cloud-based accounting platform ingesting data in real-time and batch modes.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate highly scalable API-driven services using Java, SQL, and NoSQL databases hosted on Microsoft Azure and on-premises.
• Evolve legacy platform capabilities into modern cloud-ready and API-first services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Ensure software reliability, observability, auditability, data quality, and operational controls.
• Strengthen platform reliability through improved monitoring, observability, resiliency, and production support.
• Work within an Agile delivery model adhering to architecture standards.
• Lead design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of code from ideation to production support and optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, clients, operations, architects, and global teams.
• Contribute to rapid delivery through mature CI/CD pipelines, automation, reusable patterns, and DevOps.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly for design, coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
