Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/n) to join our client's team carrying out a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw.

• Higher education.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a similar position.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
• Experience completing at least one full software solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation.
• Skilled in requirements and user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Familiarity with analysis and modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model, etc.).
• Proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or others.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a BA on large-scale projects (>1 year duration, over €1M budget) deploying enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience analysing business processes in areas including Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, and Project Management.
• Experience with business analysis involving Microsoft technologies: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse.
• Experience with business analysis on the ServiceNow Platform, including custom applications and standard modules such as Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Customer Service Management (both on-premises and cloud setups).
• Holds at least one certification among: Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent; Certified UML Professional at foundation level; BPMN 2 fundamental level; or other internationally recognized equivalents accepted by the contracting authority.

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories.
• Supports business experts and product owners during the definition of requirements and software development.
• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories throughout the system lifecycle.
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification.
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features.
• Analyses available systems.
• Supports identification of options for potential solutions.
• Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
• Designs, validates, and tests business processes for achieving business process excellence.
• Plans and manages programmes for continuous improvements of business processes.
• Coaches staff on upcoming changes, ensuring plans for teaching new skills and process changes.
• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to seek out continuous process improvements.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue.
• Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to stakeholders for rapid response to business needs.
• Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analyses.
• Plans organizational change processes.
• Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes.
• Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans.
• Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures.
