Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Our client is a stable product company developing advanced tools used by global industry leaders such as Honda Aircraft, Sasol, and Hamble Aerostructures. They focus on engineering solutions that streamline engineers' work worldwide.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including delivery of web-based applications
• Experience with microservices architecture and designing cloud-native systems
• Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working across dev, IT, and product teams, proactive, curious, and action-oriented
• English language proficiency at B2-C1 level

Tech stack requirements:

• C# .NET Core, REST API, Angular, JavaScript, Module Federation
• Docker, containerization & orchestration with Kubernetes
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Azure DevOps (planning, repositories, pipelines, releases)
• Solid SQL knowledge; designing schemas, writing performant queries, using ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework)
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews)

• Take ownership of designing and building new features across the full technology stack, focusing on usability, performance, scalability, and security
• Manage complex components end-to-end, contribute to architecture and design discussions, and ensure best practices in code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, and development teams to translate business requirements into reliable, cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Develop cloud-native applications and services that are intuitive, performant, and scalable for end users
• Implement solutions using the Microsoft .NET stack in AWS, following high standards for code quality, testing, and deployment automation
• Influence architecture, framework, and design decisions, proposing improvements that align with project goals
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies—planning, grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives—to deliver iterative, incremental value
• Ensure maintainable, secure, and high-quality code through code reviews, pair programming, and adherence to standards
• Contribute throughout the software lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Create and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and contract) to safeguard critical paths
• Support containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for reliable, repeatable deployments
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements
• Produce clear technical documentation for features, services, and interfaces
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, sharing best practices and raising team-wide standards
