Senior Developer Relations Engineer

HSBC Technology Poland is building app.hsbc, a new application development platform aiming to migrate ~80% of bank workloads in 3–4 years. The role is part of the platform enablement team focused on developer experience and tooling.

• Strong hands-on engineering capability with experience building templates, automation, reference implementations, onboarding assets, or developer tooling.
• Practical understanding of developer experience, focusing on standardisation and automation.
• Ability to write clear technical content (documentation, how-tos, examples) for large audiences.
• Solid production mindset including security, resilience, observability, and supportability in regulated environments.
• Good stakeholder and collaboration skills working across multiple platform teams.

• Build and maintain golden-path templates and reusable patterns to accelerate onboarding and reduce variation.
• Deliver practical worked examples from real HSBC projects.
• Improve self-service onboarding processes at scale.
• Run and support developer feedback loops and convert pain points into improvements.
• Write and improve platform documentation as part of feature delivery.
• Partner with product, engineering, architecture, and risk/control teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and practical guidance.
