Staff Software Developer (IAM)

JetBrains is developing a unified, AI-native platform for software development. The JetBrains Platform team (JCP) builds a foundation connecting developer workflows, team collaboration, and organizational control across products and environments.

• 7+ years of JVM development experience, preferably with Kotlin
• Knowledge of performance optimization on JVM and Postgres
• Experience building and operating SaaS production services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment
• Fluency with modern devops stack: Kubernetes (K8S), OpenTelemetry, Grafana
• Proven experience taking over and improving existing production services

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with identity management protocols like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, or SCIM 2.0
• Experience designing and evolving domain models for organizational or identity systems
• Cybersecurity experience including risk estimation and promoting SSDLC best practices
• Hands-on experience with Go

• Own the entire SDLC: codebase, architecture, and operations
• Maintain and evolve the services in Kotlin and a little bit of Go, ensuring reliability and performance as the platform grows
• Design and implement new features across the identity, organization, membership, group, and workspace domains
• Review and integrate PRs from other platform teams
• Manage integrations with other JCP platform components and connected applications
