Cloud Systems Architect - AWS

• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions in enterprise environments
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda and related components
• Familiarity with cloud migration techniques (rehost, refactor, replatform, re-architect)
• Understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, networking, and connectivity
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of security principles and ability to apply them in AWS environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team setting
• Good communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
• Exposure to large-scale migration programs
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or higher)

• Collaborate with teams to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into AWS solution designs
• Design and prototype AWS infrastructure components, ensuring security, scalability, and performance
• Assist in migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS using appropriate methodologies
• Develop implementation plans and support solution deployment and configuration
• Apply best practices for CI/CD automation, security hardening, and cost optimization
• Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements for availability, resilience, and compliance
• Provide technical guidance during development and integration phases
• Prepare architecture documentation and ensure alignment with governance policies
• Collaborate with senior architects in defining architecture standards and patterns
