The BI Data Engineer will work on delivering reports and dashboards based on data from multiple sources, supporting key business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Aftermarket. The role involves close collaboration with business users and technical teams, with opportunities for growth in Business Intelligence by working with experts in Data Lake, Advanced Analytics, and Information Management. The position offers a choice of B2B or Employment Contract.
Wymagania
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence including end-to-end Power BI development from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including extensive use of Power Query Editor and DAX.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data access, and data storage concepts.
- Experience with AI-related tools such as Visual Studio and Codex.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience working in both low-code and high-code ETL environments.
- Basic understanding of Git, including branching strategies and code management.
- Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Located in Poland for at least 5 years.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of different storage modes and ways of optimizing DAX code, including input and dual.
- Experience with Matillion and Azure Data Factory in low-code and high-code ETL environments.
