QA/Manual Tester

Mindbox connects top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is part of a global Cybersecurity team within Technology, focusing on ensuring application quality assurance in a highly diversified and modern DevSecOps environment.

• 3+ years in QA / Manual Testing roles within an Agile software development environment.
• Sound knowledge of software testing principles in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience designing test cases for web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong background in functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in defining Agile delivery artifacts (epics, stories, tasks).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps delivery processes and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with QA and testing tools: JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and test management solutions like QTest, Tricentis, or Zephyr.
• Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with protocols such as REST and HTTP.
• Competent in using Microsoft Excel for test tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and application security testing (SAST, DAST, MAST).
• Experience producing UML/process flow diagrams.
• Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks.
• Awareness of Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and define acceptance criteria for testable deliverables.
• Create comprehensive manual test plans based on user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in defining test strategy and ensure application quality through verification of functional, regression, and performance criteria.
• Maintain test artifacts, document metrics, and manage test environments.
• Provide scenarios for automation pipelines and performance test coverage where applicable.
• Support defect management lifecycle: identify, reproduce, and triage application issues including log analysis.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Partner with engineering teams for integration and release testing in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
