Lead DevOps Engineer

Profitroom seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to support their Engineering team responsible for the backbone of their products operating in a complex environment of cloud and over 400 virtual machines. The role involves ownership of distributed infrastructure and shaping the technical direction to keep platforms automated, secure, and resilient.

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SysOps, or as a Linux Administrator in complex distributed infrastructures.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, setting technical direction, mentoring, and key decision ownership.
• Proficiency in Linux, especially Rocky Linux, and comfortable working with Docker.
• Fluent in Kubernetes and Helm, with practical experience using FluxCD.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, QuestDB, and Prometheus.
• Skilled in automation and configuration management with Ansible, Terraform, and creating automated deployments with GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with MariaDB administration, NGINX, and supporting applications using PHP, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python, or Go.
• Over 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Polish language proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level.

• Collaborate with software development teams to support releases, and develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement automated infrastructure.
• Maintain existing cloud infrastructure and virtual machines.
• Monitor the environment and analyze and solve problems as needed.
• Optimize and automate infrastructure and processes proactively based on Software Development Life Cycle understanding.
