Principal/ Director, Data Analytics Consulting for Financial Services

• 15+ years in data, analytics, and technology consulting with leadership roles
• Proven leadership of large-scale data and AI transformation programs
• Preferred degree in Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics or related field
• Deep understanding of banking and financial services data, systems, and KPIs
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance frameworks: Basel 3.1/CRR3, BCBS239, AML/AFC, DORA, EU AI Act
• Expertise in modern data platforms and implementations in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Databricks and enterprise data platforms
• Strong skills in data architecture, governance, lineage, real-time processing, enterprise data management
• Ability to translate business challenges into data and AI solutions and advise executives
• Experience with modern AI including Machine Learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agentic systems, multimodal AI
• Understanding of AI governance, human oversight, explainability, auditability in regulated environments
• Experience leading discovery, governance frameworks, and delivery of complex enterprise data programs
• Skilled in establishing target operating models, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end transformation delivery
• Strong foundations in computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, search technologies, distributed systems
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) and good German (B1) language skills

• Partner with client executives on data strategy, enterprise-wide platform builds, and AI transformation initiatives
• Contribute to development and evolution of Financial Services Data & Analytics offerings
• Manage RFP/RFQ/RFI responses including winning strategy and storytelling
• Oversee Financial Services project portfolio and key engagement deliveries
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships focused on value delivery
• Lead initial phases of strategic engagements: program vision, success definition, team formation, governance
• Consult teams on regulatory and compliance requirements for AI-enabled financial solutions
• Coach and mentor next-generation consultants in Financial Services Data & Analytics
