Cybersecurity Engineer (Jira, Confluence)

A cybersecurity engineering role focused on embedded systems in the automotive industry, working with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The position involves working according to ISO 21434 and UNECE standards and being part of a Security Engineering Team (ISO 21434 / T-CS).

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• ISO 21434 Certification and knowledge of UNECE / Automotive Cybersecurity standards.
• Good German (minimum B1) and English (minimum B2) language skills in speaking and writing.
• Knowledge of automotive embedded systems and embedded software development (e.g., in C).
• Understanding of communication via field buses (CAN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Practical background in Requirements Engineering and UML.
• Knowledge of modern encryption algorithms including post-quantum cryptography.
• Knowledge regarding malware analysis, virtualization, Linux, and reverse engineering.
• Experience or familiarity with Jira, Confluence, CANoe, Enterprise Architect, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills, technical problem-solving mindset, and good communication skills.

• Execute the Security Engineering Process according to UNECE and ISO 21434, including risk analyses, protection concepts, and security requirements management.
• Analyze potential cybersecurity attacks, manipulations, and errors on vehicle systems.
• Perform systematic analysis of communication interfaces and behavior in embedded automotive systems.
• Analyze test results to determine further attack vectors and research existing attacks.
• Work in line with Automotive SPICE for Cybersecurity frameworks (SEC.1-4, MAN.7, ACQ.2, ACQ.4).
