Basware Functional Consultant

• Practical experience with Basware and solid grasp of its core platform architecture and capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of invoice handling, Accounts Payable booking workflows, and financial documentation lifecycle.
• Strong capability to distinguish between native platform functionality, configurable features, and custom development needs.
• Near-native or C1+ fluent English communication skills for an international corporate environment.
• No technical configuration skills needed; focus strictly on functional analysis and application.

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert on Basware platform features, scope, and operational logic.
• Analyze end-to-end invoice booking and Accounts Payable workflows to identify process improvements.
• Assess business requirements to determine standard out-of-the-box possibilities versus configurable options or custom developments.
• Collaborate closely with international project teams and business stakeholders to ensure process alignment.
• Support functional decision-making during process reviews and platform updates.
