Expert IT Analyst - data engineering area

This role is part of a project combining requirements engineering, data engineering with Snowflake/dbt/pipelines, AI, and modern architecture patterns including domain-driven design, event-sourcing, and microservices. Preferred locations include Gdańsk/Gdynia, with Warsaw and Łódź also considered. The position involves hybrid work with 2 days in the office per week.

• Proven experience designing data intensive solutions
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in the banking industry
• Understanding of requirement elicitation techniques and analysis
• Expertise in translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
• Experience with AI technologies including Copilot, LLM, and agentic solutions and ability to innovate AI adoption
• Excellent SQL skills with experience in Snowflake and MSSQL
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and experience in international collaboration
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Understanding of domain-driven design, event-sourcing architecture, microservices architecture, and clean code practices
• Experience with scalable data products and enabling users to become data driven

• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders
• Interact with product owners and stakeholders to clarify and translate requirements into implementation specifications
• Communicate effectively to align stakeholders on shared objectives
• Perform data mapping, data modeling, and solution design
• Contribute to solution design, maintainability, and application architecture
• Design near real-time data pipelines
• Perform quantitative data analysis to diagnose issues and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with developers and test engineers
• Build relationships through engagement with multiple stakeholders
• Take responsibility for requirements documentation including use cases and quality improvement
• Access complex and distributed datasets and perform statistical analysis
• Promote analytical excellence by influencing colleagues and promoting best practices across teams

Preferred location is Gdańsk/Gdynia; Warsaw and Łódź may be considered. Hybrid work with 2 days in office per week, potentially increasing to 3 days.
